  Summary: By using My School Admin, you agree to these terms. We provide a school management platform on a subscription basis. You're responsible for your account and the data you enter. We'll do our best to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My School Admin platform ("Service"), operated by [Your Company Name] ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are registering on behalf of a school, you represent that you have authority to bind the school to these Terms.

2. The Service

My School Admin provides a cloud-based school management platform for daycare centres and pre-schools, including:

Learner registration and enrolment management
Parent and teacher communication (chat, notifications)
Attendance tracking
Fee billing and payment processing
Timetable and programme planning
Reporting and analytics

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials
You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
One school registration per legal entity — duplicate registrations may be removed

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis with different plan tiers
A free trial period may be offered at our discretion
Subscription fees are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR)
Payment is processed via PayFast — we do not store your card details
If payment fails, your subscription enters a grace period (7 days) before suspension
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from the admin portal
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rata refunds for partial months

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Send spam, harassment, or inappropriate content through the communication features
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
Upload malicious files or content
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform
Share login credentials with unauthorised persons

6. Data and Content

Your data remains yours. You retain all rights to the content and data you upload to the Service
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter
You must obtain appropriate consent from parents before entering their or their children's personal information
Upon cancellation, you may request a data export within 90 days

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice where possible
We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control (internet outages, hosting provider issues, force majeure)

9. Intellectual Property

The My School Admin platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by [Your Company Name] and protected by South African intellectual property law. Your subscription grants you a licence to use the Service — it does not transfer any ownership rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not responsible for decisions made based on data or reports generated by the Service

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the admin portal
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
We may terminate the Service with 90 days written notice to all subscribers
Upon termination, your access will cease and data will be handled per our Privacy Policy retention schedule

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
